1995:  I went on a Mediterranean cruise suggested to me by my friend Dahlia,
where I met Amany, Pakinam, Ehab & Mostafa for the first time.  It’s always
interesting to meet new people, especially ones who stand out as being
exceptional and unique, and those are people who are just being themselves.
Ehab was one of those, always being himself.  He gives himself the right to be
cheerful and humorous when he wants to, silent and depressed whenever he
feels like it, grumpy & aggressive at other times…
I can’t claim I know him very well, in spite of all the time we’ve spent together.
I always feel there are lots and lots more to learn about him.  But what was
very obvious from the first time I saw him was that he’s a person with a lot of
depth.  He doesn’t bother to show off, but most people know a person with
depth from just looking at him, without even listening to him, I don’t know
how…
So you get to know a person like Ehab for a year, two years, five years,… & you
still know only a little about him, partly because he’s not very sharing when it
comes to his own personal life and experiences (or maybe just not with me, I
don’t know), but mostly because he has a lot of personality to offer.
He’s a very good artist, hiding his art-work in drawers…
A very interesting person … not easy to understand; a great sample of a
human being for anyone interested in psychology.
A sociable person, and a great friend, helpful, understanding and a very good
listener who is always interested in your life and personal affairs.
A friend, I would not want to loose.
