Marriage Nowadays Getting married these days; to a decent/ beloved woman; is like trying mounting up a hill, both the girls and girls families; thinking business-like, not any romantic…, like used to be! I may say that, it is a snowballing event now, disquieting most of the Egyptian houses. I'm not talking academic, but already been through many unpleasant experiences; most of them were either broken-up after a while, or were unsuccessful since the very beginning. Actually, reasons for such; varies between the families' short sights, and the girls' narrow minds! They would start by questioning you – if you go to propose – about your car, your salary, how much is your account in the Bank, about your present to their daughter, where about shall be the wedding reception….and many more stupid demands, the least to say is squeezing / exploiting the poor proposed young-man. In the mean-while, the bride seems to be blessing / following her father's and mother's steps; unintentionally aborting her chance; to be a mother and wife, non-appreciating how hard it is, for a young man – nowadays - to dig and build- up a career in life, plus him trying making available, each and every possible provision, for his so called.. (Sweet half)!. No wonder that you may bump - at the present - into bulk of girls, still maiden, whilst they should have been – long ago - mothers and wives amongst their families!
